Wilton Rd Toilets Reopen

The Wilton Road Toilets will reopen from the 3rd July on Tuesdays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 3pm until 5th October and about time!!

I supported this & was instrumental in getting the decision but I am still working for full opening of the toilets in Wilton Road.

I will be raising the rainbow flag in support of International Day against Homophobia, which is May 17th at Leicestershire County Council. This is because I am the Cabinet Support Member for Community Member. It is unacceptable that people are discriminated against simply because they are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.

I’ve been on the internet and have found ‘Justice Done‘ which is a system being poiloted within Leicester City and to be rolled out in the County. The aim is to provide the public with information about what has happened to those who have been convicted at Leicester Magistrates’ Court. Please click here.

The next Fairmead Regeneration consultation will be held in the Fairmead Childrens Centre on Wednesday 14th April 2010 from 10am to 6.30pm where there will be a question & answer session with Melton Borough Council officers.
